children's ministry
Florida Station Kids' mission is to teach the children that there are many ways to grow and be close with the Lord and we will teach them all these ways that He is always there for them in any and all aspects of their life.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”
Proverbs 22:6
New Here?
At Florida Station Kids, we want to partner with your family to draw life from God and point others to Him.
Our staff and volunteers work hard to make your child's visit safe and meaningful. If you plan on visiting Florida Station Kids for the first time this Sunday, we recommend:
-
Arriving 15 minutes before service begins.
-
Come to the Florida Station Kids check in desk, where friendly Children's Ministry Team members will help register your family and answer any questions.
Our check-in process, background-checked leaders, and security team help to make our Lifepoint Kids environments safe and secure so that parents can enjoy our Sunday services.
We look forward to meeting you this Sunday!

Check-In / Security
In order to provide a safe environment for your children, we follow a strict check in process.
-
At the check-in station, parents are issued a label with a randomly generated security code.
-
Each child receives a name tag with the same code. Name tags should be displayed in a prominent place on the child’s clothing.
-
We ask that parents check in their children at the desk and not enter the classroom.
-
Children over 3 years old will return to the sanctuary with their families until the worship portion of service is over and the children are dismissed
-
You will need your label with the security code to pick up your child from the room.
-
In the event that a parent must be contacted during the service, they will receive a text notification instructing them to come to the Florida Station Kids area.
-
Security members are responsible for monitoring the Florida Station Kids area.
-
All of our volunteers receive a criminal background check.
-
Volunteers are never allowed in single stall restrooms alone with a child. A fellow volunteer or leader must always be present if a child needs assistance.
Wellness
For the health and safety of all children in Florida Station Kids, please keep your child home if they have any of the following symptoms:
-
Fever within the past 24 hours
-
Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
-
Persistent cough, chest congestion, or difficulty breathing
-
Runny nose with thick yellow or green discharge

Medication Policy:
If your child is being treated with antibiotics for a contagious illness, they must be on medication for at least 24 hours before returning to Florida Station Kids. Our team is unable to administer medication of any kind.
Florida Station Kids reserves the right to turn any children away if they display any symptoms of sickness. If a child becomes ill, parents will immediately be contacted.
